Crafting the Perfect Table of Contents 

Hi, Pretty Posse!   For my table of contents, I think it’ll be best for me to look at examples of other magazines. I found a feminist magazine titled Lilith Magazine, which is a popular Jewish feminist publication. Most of these magazines include both feature articles and news pieces. For my table of contents, I could potentially include a news article about the failure to make abortion a constitutional right in Florida after the recent election.   Looking through magazines for inspiration has also helped me brainstorm ideas for my feature article. The articles I’ve been seeing so far address beauty standards, how the media portrays them, and similar topics.   When I do the table of contents, I plan to include a byline with each piece. I don’t want to use the names of people I actually know, so I’ll use Harry Potter characters instead. Next on my to-do list, I want to plan what needs to be done for my feature article. For my blog, l've chosen to explore the power of reading fantasy, where stories transport readers into entirely new worlds. This past week, l attended a school event and captured some photos, one of which became the perfect cover for this post. The cover features a classmate dressed as a siren which is a mythical creature often symbolizing allure and temptation. Next week, I plan to dive into research on how reading fantasy affects readers and start brainstorming ideas for the focus of my feature article. Until next time, The Realm Reader
